Minor in Digital Marketing

The digital marketing minor prepares students with skills and technologies that are foundational for the evolving digital marketing landscape and gives them access to expertise across disciplines at the University. The minor is open to students of any major who have room for the requirements and their prerequisites.

Degree Requirements

The Digital Marketing Minor Requirement is a minimum of 18 credit hours as follows:

MK 372	Digital Marketing	3 cr.
MK 373	Social Media	3 cr.
MK 480 - MK 485	Marketing Internship or Marketing/Communication Internship	3 cr. - 3 cr.
Subtotal: 9 cr. - Choose 3 of the following courses:
COMM 245	Video Editing & Production	4 cr.
ENGL 270	Writing for the Web	3 cr.
ENGL 371	Narrative & Digital Media	3 cr.
IT 240	Foundations of Web Systems	3 cr.

Subtotal: 9-10 cr.

Total credit hours: 18-19
